Here is a list of some of our most frequently asked questions:

 

Do you have a size guide?

Sometimes it is hard to find the perfect fit in a dress – and we completely understand. We have a really helpful size guide, all you need to do is take your bust, waist and hip measurements and check the guide. All our products are listed on the website in UK sizes – there is a converter on our size guide for EU and US sizing. View our guide here.

 

How do I collab with The Pretty Dress Company?

There are a few ways to register your interest with us. You can DM us on Instagram – but sometimes due to high volume of messages this could be missed. The other way is to send us over an email to marketing@theprettydresscompany.com. Make sure to include your name and your links to your social profile and we can get back to you.

 

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes! We do. If you send us over an email to customerservice@theprettydresscompany.com we will try to reply as quickly as possible!

 

Do you have a shop?

Unfortunately, we are an online only retailer

 

How can I wash my garment?

This information is available under the product care tab on every product – it will also give you the full fabric content for each item.

 

The item I want is out of stock, will you be restocking?

You can sign up on the product page for email notifications when it comes back into stock. If there is an item that hasn’t come back into stock for a while then this might be available to order through our bespoke service – subject to pattern and fabric availability. Please email us at customerservice@theprettydresscompany.com for more details on this service.

 

What is your returns policy?

If something isn’t right with your order you have 14 days to return the item(s) to us if you are in the UK – mainland. International customers have 28 days to send their items back to us. As long as the item(s) are in a re-saleable condition we will be able to refund you. Please note that any bespoke orders are not available for return or exchange. Will I be charged customs and taxes on my order?

You might be liable to pay your local customs duties / couriers fees upon delivery. Unfortunately, any of these costs are out of our control and we recommend that you contact your local courier depot to find out more information on any fees you may pay. We have a helpful guide here that can explain in full – but please contact us if you have any other questions regarding this.

 

Why do you request a mobile number when placing an order?

Couriers wish to text your delivery options and their approximate delivery time and date. Couriers will also use your mobile number to call you to pay custom taxes and charges levied against your goods (if applicable)

 

Can you speed up a courier delivery?

Unfortunately not. The couriers are a third-party supplier of transport. The Pretty Dress Company have no control over their operations and speed of delivery.

 

Can you confirm that a return order has been received?

Due to the nature of returns, we are unable to confirm individually when a return is received by The Pretty Dress Company. We aim to process returns within 14 working days of receipt into our warehouse. Refunds can then take 3-5 working days to reach your account as well.

 

What are your business hours?

Monday-Friday not including UK public bank holidays. Hours are 9:00am – 17:00pm.
